Rising Cost Question

Has anyone seen there life insurance rates rise?  I figure with everything else rising that that would rise too.  I sure wish things would get better.  I this rate, we’ll need a million dollar policy to make sure everything is covered!

I am curious at how much people buy these days.  What’s considered normal, should we buy more because of how the economy is, or what???  Just curious that’s all.

Energy Efficient and Brighter!

My husband’s shop is in the barn but the lighting has been terrible.  He doesn’t complain at all because this isn’t our house and it would do no good.  It was really nice when my father-in-law all of the sudden made a call to his handy man and asked him to come out and put some outdoor lighting in.  He had them put those 8ft florescent lights in so it would be super bright but also very energy efficient.  With the rising costs today, I thought it was a fabulous idea.

The whole barn was lit up last night so that we could how it looked.  It took the guy only a few hours to install it all and it works perfectly.  Have any of you installed any outdoor lighting??  What about energy efficient lighting??

Teenager Habits

Do you ever find yourself drooling and begging over the latest new gadgets?  Gosh, I feel like a teenager again except instead of asking my parents, I feel like I’m begging my husband.  SO lame!

My kids work hard and buy there own stuff.  My oldest finally decided to buy one of those ipods.  He never wanted one and now all of the sudden he felt he couldn’t live without it.  NOW, I want one!  Geez, I don’t know because I really wouldn’t use it.  It’s just a bad habit wanting and wanting.

Yesterday evening we went to see our friend’s house and furniture.  I was in love with every single piece she had.  Gosh, everything matched and it was just gorgeous.  Again, I found myself wanting all new furniture.  I felt like a dang teenager.  Sometimes we never grow up I guess.
